The news that the Nobel Prize in chemistry has gone to lithium batteries is spreading from Sweden to the rest of the world. Three scientists, John goodenough of the United States, Stanley whittingham of Britain and akira yoshino of Japan, "share" the 2019 Nobel Prize in chemistry.
